The Wageningen Zen Group is organizing a Zen Sunday at KenKon on March 22nd.
Simon Senko de Boer will facilitate the session.
The Zen Sunday opens with an extensive guided meditation, followed by a dharma teaching for the entire group midway through. Periods of zazen are interspersed with walking meditation, individual conversations with the teacher, and movement exercises.
The day includes a vegetarian lunch of soup and bread. After the afternoon zazen, we will conclude with a short Buddhist service. All in all, an excellent opportunity to practice the four elements of Zen practice: meditation, movement language, dharma study, and social interaction.
You can register by emailing Zeninwageningen@gmail.com. To cover all expenses, we ask for a membership fee of €35. If you’re short on cash, we suggest a €20 contribution. Please pay in cash on the day. Spectrum offers a reduced rate for 10 WUR students for €10.
