“Online only” membership
Dear all,
There are several things we consider important to continue pursuing at KenKon. These are, in particular:
- Improving quality and depth
- Expanding practice opportunities
- Developing a community culture
- Maintaining and improving the atmosphere in the building
- Affordability of activities
There are still – and likely always will be – gains to be made on all fronts, and keeping this endeavor commercially viable and healthy is always a challenge. And that will likely always be the case. Despite this last point, we still want to make it more affordable for people who take classes exclusively or almost exclusively online. Namely by introducing an “online only” rate. This will be a concession, especially for people who live abroad or far away. The “online only” rate will be half the normal rate for the relevant activity(ies). Who knows, this might even attract new online members and keep our business healthy.
Of course, it’s still possible to attend live classes, which is always just a little bit more beautiful and special than online. As an “online-only” member, you’ll pay the standard individual class rate of €12.50 per session (or €10.00 for students).
If you’d like to apply for an “online-only” subscription, please contact Ingrid Bos at ingrid@kenkon.org . This will be activated starting January 1st. Of course, you can always switch back to a full subscription if you live or move closer.
As every year, all membership fees will be adjusted on January 1st based on the consumer price index (CPI) of the government.
Kind regards,
Sydney Leijenhorst
